George and Angie Estcourt bought The King's Head as a Freehouse in 2008 having previously enjoyed a number of successful and popular years as owners of The Cross Keys in the nearby village of Redgrave.

The main bar is the heart of the pub, with snug seating area, tudor beams and a large inglenook fireplace to enhance the friendly welcome. Perch at one of the high stools and choose from the list of award-winning real ales on offer from local brewers including Adnams and Woodefordes, always immaculately kept and served. Our wine list is carefuly selected for top quality and great value, and of course there are a full range of lagers, ciders, spirits and minerals as well as freshly-brewed tea or coffee.

The public bar, also steeped in period character, serves the restaurant and games area of the pub, refreshing pool players, lunchers and diners or function guests at different times.

The pleasant gardens and paved seating area under the trees at the front of the pub are the perfect spot from which to admire the fine thatched building and floral displays. There's plenty of room for the whole family. Old and young, regulars and visitors, the family, children and dogs, are all welcome. 'All our wines are available by the glass.
